I have all the letters in the alphabet except I and Q and shuffle mode makes me want to lie in fetal position under my bed for the rest of the week. The Shuffle play is by default feature of a free Spotify account. If your account is a Premium one you should be able to listen to music on demand. Sometimes Spotify users create more than one account for different reasons. In such a case you might have both free and Premium accounts.

The iPad still worked fine. If this post was helpful, please add kudos below! Thanks for you reply. Thanks for your reply, but this doesn't make sense.
An iphone screen is much smaller--does it have a higher resolution, which therefore allows it to use the non-shuffle feature? Surely this could be worked out. Innovation, I think not. Kinda useful but not at the expense of being able to turn shuffle off.
Support has no clue how to tell me that this is just the way it is now. Spotify, please go back to the straightforward green Play button.
