To get one, you need to book an online consultation with one of our doctors who will advise on whether or not we are able to backdate a sick note for you.
We can send it to you by email or first class post. Please note: You must provide evidence of sickness in order to receive a backdated sick note. We cannot provide any fit sick notes for court appearances. For this, you will need to speak to your GP. Our sick notes are just like the ones you would receive from your regular GP.
They contain all the information needed by your employer or institution, including details of the issuing GP and their GMC General Medical Council number. We also provide verification codes that can be used by your employer or institution to check the originality of sick notes by phone. As isolation notes can be obtained without contacting a doctor, this will reduce the pressure on GP surgeries and prevent people needing to leave their homes.
