Even when I tried to settle things peacefully, he just got really pissed at the king for it and tried to kill all the NCR troopers in the building. Needless to say he and his little king defects got massacred, but I did broker a ceasefire between the NCR and the Kings so it was worth it. I think if I didn't cash in my favor from the king, I could've let Pacer live, but that was at least 50 hours ago.
